I actually think it's pretty good advice myself. He didn't sound like he was patronizing the OP, just giving friendly advice.
I think that you'd regret spending all that money on the plastics if you sell the bike, will not affect sale price at all. Too many 250's out there, and price point is...
The fairings are TCP, http://www.rideaddict.com/tcp05-06kawasakiz750s-lowerpart.aspx Ship from spain to california and then to canada which takes about 2.5 weeks total. The quote they gave me for shipping was about 40 bucks, which seems a bit low but considering how much the fairings are, seems...
Tires are the original, tread is fine, but they're approaching 5 years and may need replacement. It is a black one, and if I get it i'll be purchasing the lower fairings for the bike, cleans up the look a great deal. Performance wise it trounces the 650r and sv650s which I was also looking at...
I know it's just so ridiculous how high used bike prices are, buddy says that 5 grand is his rock bottom price but I'll have to re-negotiate it. It's been on sale since beginning of may.
These folks get offended when you throw them a reasonable offer, then you check back months later and the...
Pretty much was stationary, while turning left allegedly. No frame sliders are on it. So should I try to eke out a lower offer on the bike assuming there's nothing wrong with it? Kinda hard to gauge with this bike as they didn't sell much which is why they discontinued it for 2007 in NA.
Looking to buy, bike's been dropped, however it's very minor damage, barely noticeable. It's all stock, and offered 5k for it, but I don't want to pay too much for something that would be overpriced. I like the bike, but not enough to drop extra dough on it if not needed.
Ok wise guy, so when I drive the same locations all the time and slow down for the right spots where i've seen previous traps it's all luck? I'm not saying there is no luck involved at all, but I've avoided many tickets for knowing where they've been before.
If i'm in a new area, I'll go with...
Well for those of you who emailed him, he wrote another article and responded via copy-pasta email. I threw out an incredibly insulting and demeaning email rife with curse words and a blanket assumption that he has a micro-penis. His response was pretty quick: "Outstanding points."
I've probably got around 350k km between my bike and trucks and I've never even been pulled over, and I speed all the time, you just gotta know when and where to do it. Luck will only get you so far, so I'm probably due for one soon, but I'm not gonna get a bunch in the same year!
What the hell did you do to get 9 points, going over 50km/hr is only 6 points and running from the cops is 7. of course they'll compound all infractions, but seriously... And the points only stay for 2 years after conviction.
Nobody gives a **** about "points". You're not gonna rack them up so don't worry about that. I'd worry about having the ticket on my record, doesn't matter if it's 1km/h over or 49 over, the insurance company sees them the same. Fight the ticket and read through on how people go about doing it...
