"Forever Yonge" Anyone ever driven/rode the entire length of Yonge st?

While i haven't run my bike dry yet, I've gone as far as 320km hwy on a tank, and I *think* I can squeeze out 340 or so. That's what caa plus is for too :D It's more to just check it off my list, completing what used to be the longest street in the world.

"Forever Yonge" Anyone ever driven/rode the entire length of Yonge st?

The road is about 1900 km's, probably gonna take 8 days or so to do it, i'm flexible with time, if it takes longer then meh. BTW "Forever Yonge" came from this article, give it a read, it's pretty good, although it's missing the pictures from the print version which added to the hilarity. Car...

"Forever Yonge" Anyone ever driven/rode the entire length of Yonge st?

Yes I know it's not considered the longest street any more, it's in my OP. I'm still going to do it, never been up to Thunder bay area or that far north, might as well take "Yonge st". Northern Canada is not a third world country, I highly doubt anyone is risking life and limb doing this, tone...

"Forever Yonge" Anyone ever driven/rode the entire length of Yonge st?

Thanks for the route, do you think that there'd be any gravel roads as part of it? I assumed that there wouldn't be, can anyone that drove that far up and seen anything chime in?

Anyone out there have the new Ninja 1000?

Yeah I have the same bike as well, didn't know the rear shock was a straight swap though. The engine is fantastic though, I personally don't think I need any more power than what it has.

"Forever Yonge" Anyone ever driven/rode the entire length of Yonge st?

Read a car and driver magazine article a long while back, and they got a Mercedes Benz G-class suv and drove up the entire length of Yonge st, from queens quay all the way to rainy river. It's been in the back of my mind for years, and now want to check that off my list. I know that it isn't...

    Great Ride/S**t End

He did say it's definitely leaking from that stone damage, since he ran the bike and looked at the leak.

    Noise revolt

Well if he were to wait too long his engine would overheat.

    My Studio Cycle experience

I dunno, I brought my old kymco in there for servicing before I knew anything about motorcycle maintenance, and asked for valve check/adjustment. They told me to come back in an hour and a half, and charged me 300 bucks. Took a maintenance course and found out the engine NEEDS to be cold to...

Geez, post #190, insulting krazybones. All i did was make a point and used the word turbodouche, which I think was hilarious. Everyone here is so touchy...

So I guess my post was insulting and got deleted? Turbo calling people retarded for daring breaking the law is not insulting then eh? This forum is a joke.

Anyone Interested in a few days in Pennsylvania?

Why not just post your rules, why do you have to save it? It's nothing to be embarrassed about, but I believe you should be upfront about what you expect of someone when they want to ride with you. This is a forum, there is no extra charge for more words per post :D

What maintenance is required after rain riding?

I just let the engine idle until the water on the engine and pipes is dry and lube the chain.

In just one hour, 10 out of 12 in the pack busted for street racing.

I sincerely hope that anyone on here that is defending the HTA172 gets caught in a mixup with a PO'd cop and has their car or bike seized. Try telling everyone that you're innocent and that your case was the only one that resulted in an innocent person getting nailed on a 172. The guys in that...

    I'm OUT!

If there's a new kid involved, then I can understand giving up riding (temporarily). I don't think I would if I had a kid, but then again I don't have one so I can't be definitive on that. When you're a new parent your not only risking your life but the well-being of your child and spouse.

    Riding in the rain

Oh yeah and watch out for manhole covers and anything else metal on the road, extremely slippery!
