Need moral, ethical, legal and logistical advises asap.

Probably stupid in hindsight but I've carried two tires bungee'd to my motorcycle's pillion for a short distance. When I stopped at the shop, it slipped down and was covering my license plate. A police cruiser did trail on by me but never gave me any grief, thank goodness.

Anyone have a 100% waterproof back pack?

Pretty much need to get a dry bag, AFAIK. I got one to fit my laptop and electronics before it does into my OGIO Mach5

    Crappy Tire deals this week

Well, just by looking at it I'm, not so sure I'd trust my bike to stay balanced on that thing. Even with ratchet down straps, I don't think the weight of the stand wound counter the possible tip over of most motorcycles. I'll stick with my pitbull stands.

    Sena 20s Helmet Speakers

Yea, the Sena speakers do suck. They always seem to shift around, even though my helmet (RX-Q) has a quasi-speaker pocket area, the velcro just doesn't seem to adhere well to it. But unless they are perfectly 'centered' then the audio is hard to make out. I'm not saying it isn't an option...

    Waterproof HD Camera's

I saw that link on another forum. I picked up two to go along with the one I currently have on my helmet. Great camera, but just make sure to bug 32GB and under microSDHC cards from either Sandisk or Kingstom. microSDXC (64GB and up) and other brands, even Samsung, have had performance issues...

    Will I outgrow a 300cc too soon?

if I had room, I would keep my Ninja 300 along with my FJ. And if I had money, I would track it, more specifically.

    Uber starts a motorcycle service!

Hard to say if it could work. I certainly don't think a passenger aspect could work, liability nightmare.

    ordering helmets from Revzilla?

Just don't. I tried it buy ordering a Shoei X-12 Kagayama since I couldn't find a place to try it on locally. I shipped it to the border and went to pick it up. Despite all my research indicating it was similar in shape to my former helmet (Nexx XR1R), it was just too small and too tight...

    UPS Strikes Again

Honestly I've had problems with both companies (UPS and Fedex) with stuff like this. Just recently, Fedex tried to bill me for brokerage and taxes a month after the fact, despite signing for the package at their depot and specifically asking if there was any charges - they said no.

Security Devices Through a Thief's Eyes

Anyone have recommendations for disc lock brands in general? Looking to get one for my FJ-09; I know about Xena Disc Locks but seems to be a lot of complaints about alarm sensitivity and randomness (eg: going off while in your bag or while the bike is still and parked in the dead of night).

My State Farm quote. All I can say is WTF

Sounds like he put you on a Kawasaki H2 with 20 convictions. Honestly, just call around, it's the best thing you can do, every year. It's a bit of a hassle but honestly, if it saves you money, it saves you money. I see zero reason to stick around with an insurance company (or even via a...

Inching towards killing the moto industry in the GTA

In all fairness, it might not matter what kind of sportbike one chooses to ride soon. The insurance for my Ninja 300 had renewal rate set for just over $1000 dollars, up from the low $500. Almost 100% increase. That's almost at the bottom (aside from second hand 125/250 market). Still...

Inching towards killing the moto industry in the GTA

Would need significant, active numbers as a whole. On top of that, money and expertise (lawyers, lobbyists, etc). I've seen an example in the recent (well, more like that last 6-7 years) of people trying to do something similar when it comes to internet in Canada and it's just not quite...
