Chinese Imitation Race Levers - Warning

To ban chinese knock-off levers at the track wouldn't really solve anything. You can get cheap brand name knockoffs like Motion pro that should fit properly, but if someone buys a set of Pazzo's that were meant for another bike but are a "really close" fit to your bike, are your tech guys...

Chinese Imitation Race Levers - Warning

If you go down hard, any levers could bend or snap on you, no avoiding it. You could minimize it by buying shortie levers or the fold-up levers, but that's it. If you're worried about the lever bending from regular use? No, pretty much no chance of that.

    2004 2005 GSXR 600 - Track Fairings

2004 2005 GSXR 600 - Track Fairings Fiberglass, gloss black. Great condition, no crack or repairs, a couple of light scratches. I'm not sure who the manufacturer is, there is no brand name sticker on the inside of them. Come with the front and belly pieces, along with a clear wind shield...

Chinese Imitation Race Levers - Warning

I've had a couple R6 bikes and have bought the cheap chinese levers. They were inexpensive and do a great job, however, for both of my bikes bikes the clutch lever came with a bushing for the mounting bolt that is far too big and allows (in my opinion) a dangerous amount of play in the lever...

tmp run track days and changing tires?

I've never seen tire changing when TMP puts on a track day, I've only seen it with Racer5 or Guys with Bikes, and I don't think they are hosting much of TMP this year. If you need a tires changed let me know, I can help out.

Motorcycle Front Axle Tool This tool has all the common hex sizes for all sport bike axles and some touring/cruiser axles (GSXR, YZF R1, YZF R6, CBR, ZX-6R, ZX-10, everything in between). A useful tool for removing/installing the front axle as well as the swing-arm pivot axle on some sport...

Intro to track school at TMP

I did the intro to Track at TMP last year, it is a great experience for someone who has not gone before, I highly recommend it if you'd like to get a taste of track in a non-intimidating environment.

Screw in Rear tire :( Options?

Explain how you can't plug a tire that has a tube inside. 99% of all the tires on cruiser spoke rims these days are 'tubeless', why can't you patch it. If you get a puncture that was so big that it leaves a visible hole in your tire, even if you have a tube, why wouldn't you seal that hole...

    Venom Tire Changer From Psycho-Moto

I picked up the Princess Auto Bead Breaker/Tire Changer a few years ago, used it once then got a No Mar machine. The princess auto machine has a decent bead breaker with good leverage. If you can bolt it to some wood so it doesn't move it would be much better. To change tires with it is...

Screw in Rear tire :( Options?

I used to own a V-Star 650 and have changed the tires on a few as well. Yamaha did a decent job designing that shaft drive for removal/install, it doesn't take me much longer to do that bike than other cruisers. But yes, the removal/install of cruiser tires is usually alot more time/labor than...

Where to buy battery acid in GTA?

Glen at Flying Squirrel is a good start, he moves alot of batteries and can probably get the acid easily. I had that problem once, I ordered a battery for a friend from Super Pete, unfortunately it didn't come with the acid. I was close to Snow City, popped in there and asked, the guy in the...

Screw in Rear tire :( Options?

If it is a narrow screw (for example, drywall), and you have a tube (all spoke tires have a tube), taking out the screw and replacing the tube should be fine since the rubber will close in on itself. The tube holds the air so it doesn't matter if the tire is "leaking". If the screw is thick...

    Changing Tires?

I balance it myself, I have a static balancer. There is a huge tolerance for motorcycle rims, but with some patience you can get it almost perfect. If you think garage digital balancers are better, they technically are. But they have to be calibrated every so often. Do you think every bike...

    Changing Tires?

Personally I use Nomar Bead lube, it's expensive but I change alot of tires in the summer so it gets paid for, and it works better than soapy water. It would take a long time for WD-40 to actually eat through a tire carcus to the point where you could actually see the damage. The average rider...
