If you are buying an 848 I would recomend you purchase the evo (2011+) those have the Brembo mono blocks, steering damper mount, and I little bit more hp.

Can't believe I missed this thread. Just having a hard time picturing what happened. So the injured bloody guy was trying to rip your license plate off when he realised that it was an impossible task he had enough time to get on your bike turn it on and drive away?....
