I'll be doing more than a single track day this season! But yeah it did cross my mind to just swap right into DOTs and sell the slicks. But I figure I wouldn't get much money out of the used slicks anyway.
Your definition of a few extra bucks is not the same as mine :( Might be out of the budget for a generator of this caliber.
I'll just buy a really really really long extension cord and hook it up somewhere :P
I'd probably be find with DOT tires as I'm just doing track days and starting out...
After taxes it's more like at least 200$ more. The 500$ ones say they've only been used a couple times ... but yeah without reading they could have made it up. Part of the clue would be to see if they are selling the latest yellow model. Otherwise it would be older.
I'm looking to get a generator for warmers and misc. electronics for track day. Any advice or information would be appreciated. I won't be using it for anything other than trackdays and camping so nothing snazzy required. Budget conscious. Thanks in advance, folks.
Edit: Orion Flack Jackets
The original owner bought the bike brand new cross the border in 2010. He had done all the proper importing procedure with the RIV and has all the documentation to show for. However, he did not bother to plate/register Ontario ownership as the bike went straight to track. If I wanted to plate it...
I'm signed up for 3-days Racer5 for end of May. The way I see it is track days are expensive and time consuming already. The amount of track days on my own to improve at the level I would get with 3 full days of instruction makes up for the cost.
Thanks. Pockets are the opposite of deep. I walk around with the liners pulled out hanging by my pants most days...
I figure instead of going on vacation I just put my money on tires and track fees :)
My RS Taichi is already close to race fit so not sure it has room for a thicker protector. Bluestreak only has Large left for Sub 4 so I might end up with the L2K. I'm 5'7 160lbs so I'm thinking the Small may work the best. Thanks for the thoughts.
Anyone able to comment on how the Forcefield Sub 4 or L2K fits? Can't try it on local so would have to ship it. Don't want end up with a protector that doesn't let me zip up my suit.
