How much data is used to run your GPS from your phone?

None. You can download a GPS app that loads all the maps onto your phone. I use Navfree Canada. It was $1.99 to get rid of all the annoying ads. There are probably much better apps out there, but I will let others chime in on that as I don't have experience with them.

Riding to Work in the Rain. How do you Dry Your Gear?

Frogg toggs and some Oxford waterproof gloves. I just shake the water off my gear and give my helmet a wipe down with a microfibre cloth. Socks get a little bit wet around the top of the ankle, but I'm working on getting a pair of gore-tex boots. New bikes and babies are expensive lol Sent...

    Shell/Gas Station Rant

I was told to get off my bike once at a Shell station, so I did.

why did kahuna lose its yamaha dealership when they gained honda. need my shaft seal.

When I went there last month to check out prices for an FZ6R (I mean, why not since they were still advertising them for sale on their website...), I was told that Yamaha's pricing left no room for profit (or something along those lines), so out they went and in came Honda.

    Need advice for highway riding

+1 on smaller highways and sideroads. Get used to going fast before going fast in dangerous traffic. And a bigger bike is just that, bigger. When I went from a CBR 125 to a Ninja 250, the difference in how much the wind pushed me around was minimal. When I went up to an FZ6R, the difference...

    free parking near Ashbridges bay?

It's free to park pretty much anywhere at the beaches. I usually park north of Queen St. in the endless labyrinth of side streets. Go early so you can actually find a spot. Parking police usually shows up at midnight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a good experience with cops today

Kind of, but at the same time not really. If they were looking for a stolen bike, there would probably be no keys to hand over.

Picking up and talking to chicks on bicycles and scooters downtown.

You should put the stock can back on. Word on the street is that chicks dig sewing machines. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New motorcycle gear store open in Oshawa

I just did lol Walked in with absolutely no intention to buy and walked out with a nice leather Shift jacket for what I thought was a pretty good deal. One man's junk is another man's treasure. Both Alex's are awesome. Great to talk to, really easy going, and their selection is pretty good...

Where can I get an OEM key cut?

+1 for Lock Clinic. I know the owner. He is a stand up guy, and I think it is his son that is a member here. Prices there are really good as well. I also recommend the shop I work at (Acme Doorway), but it's a little bit expensive here and you'll have to bring your own OEM blank. We only carry...

    Kawasaki 300

Read it again. A lot of people said the same for my bike, but if you read it carefully it just states that you shouldn't hold it above a certain rpm for long periods of time during break in. So quick acceleration and high rpm is alright, just don't hold it up there. Also search different break...

My wife wouldn't let me get a bike until I got her pregnant. Still got the bike first though... now I get to have fun during the day and at night lol OP, I love shifting through the gears too, but it just feels so nice not to have to all the time. Especially if you are riding through the city.

    Best Cargo Pants?

Sign me up for a pair of cargo pants as well. I see mention of different colours... would this be possible? If so, I would probably get a couple of pairs.

    Finished MSF and now.

The seat lock should be on the side of the bike, somewhere near the back on the left side (just a guess, as this is where it has been on my past 3 bikes). Not sure where the helmet lock would be or if there is even one, but those two locks are usually close together. The only way to get those...

    Finished MSF and now.

Congrats! As for the key jiggling around in the lock, it is probably the key that is either improperly cut or worn out. Motorcycle ignition cylinders rarely wear out to the point where they don't work properly, and late 80's is still fairly new (in terms of locks made back in the good old...

    noob crashes cbr 125

ebay if you don't mind the wait, or a local Honda dealership. Markham Outdoor Power will have everything you need, as will Kahuna Powersports. Cycleworld isn't your best option, unless you want used old stuff for a supersport or cruiser. Judging by the pictures, you need a new front tire as...

Scooters on sidewalk = $60 ticket!!!
