Nope, don't get the collision insurance.... no point of getting it. Just make sure you get someone else to be at fault in case you are involved in an accident. ;)
Congrats! Yes, some insurers want you to take a photo off from the VIN number. It doesn't have to be a clear photo tho, as long as you can capture some numbers off from the VIN that matches the actual VIN on the ownership.
Good job OP, rider's awareness is the only way to survive on the road. We can only do what we can control, and beware of things which are beyond our control.
Exactly what happened to me past Saturday as well, but was on a 50km street, a gixxer guy with t-shirt and shorts just blew pass me on my left, on the dotted line, which almost hit me. He was riding probably 100+km. What's up with these ppl... he thinks he's cool I guess.
+1
and I don't consider 03 - 05 model "old", coz most of the designs are still very sharp looking to me, and some of them even look better than the new ones. Technology wise, just like what bboySushi said.
I don't think GP bikes have them in stock... they only have the regular black tinted ones. And for online shops like ridersdiscount, they are listed as out of stock.
