Really? Just looked it up online and the FZ6 has the i4 motor... Won't that make insurance skyrocket for me considering that a supersport engine? I will definitely keep an eye out but I was concentrating on Vtwins because I heard the inline 4s are super expensive to insure.

Why the major distinction between FZ6 and FZ6R? It just so happens that 90% of the FZ6's on kijiji are all R models. I will definitely try my best to soften my feel on the VStrom then... same motor anyways

Yeah I've had those suggested to me a few times. I'm not too interested in them tbh (mostly because I am not a fan of fairings at all). I do understand that they would be a good compromise, but again, won't the insurance be roughly the same as the SV650?
