    Recommend me a bike

you guys think this is a fair price? I've been trying to come to some ideas of what I should budget, but honestly, there aren't a lot of triples for sale. Actually, there aren't a whole lot of any of the bikes mentioned in this thread. There are some, but I'm trying to stay somewhat close to...

Is this reasonable for a 750CC? Quoted through StateFarm - $2100/yr Details Inside

I notice a pretty good jump in my insurance when I move to any race ready or supersport bike....and even worse over 600cc....we're talking like a 250% increase over a standard 600cc bike

I hope this happens in Ontario one day... if only

Here here...except the logic behind this may not work in Ontario....even if speed limits were raised, trucks can't drive faster that 106, unless they remove that restriction as well.

do you guys think that with the cb500f that after a while I would want to upgrade? I had a ninja ex500 at one point (after my ninja 250) and it left a little to be desired, which is why I went to the R6. It wasn't a huge problem but I did notice it on the 401 when passing. I don't think I...

    Buying Selling on Kijiji woes

I sell things on forums and kijiji all the time. WHen I get jerked around, I usually increase the price by 25%. that usually puts an end to the shenanigans.

    Recommend me a bike

I got lots of time to decide....I'm not in any rush seeing as how there isn't much time left this season anyways...the CB500f is a great looking bike though. Decisions, decisions...

    Recommend me a bike

only problem is that the street triple is hard to find used...or at the least is far more expensive. I like the look of the other bikes, but I can't justify going over $800 a year for insurance...kind of an arbitrary amount, but still.

    Recommend me a bike

Looking at getting back into motorcycling....I've been out of it for a few years since my insurance was high, but now it seems to be ok. I'm looking for a sport touring type bike, something with lots of performance but comfortable to ride on a 1 hour commute to work. I was thinking of the...

EESA Gun Club Open House - June 8th & 9th GUNS, GUNS, GIRLS AND MORE GUNS!!!

Sorry guys, I've been absent lately because of a basement reno but I'll clarify a few things. Firstly, it was a member who proposed cancelling the open house this year. The decision was made by the membership, not the BoD. The root causes stemmed primarily from insurance concerns and there...

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm Yeah...as I recall on non-semi auto's you can can cut the barrels down, but not below 18" I think, or else it goes prohib. Having said that, if the factory produces a short barrel for the gun that is say 12", you're ok to change that out...

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm yes...I always forget that part. Center-fire is where the 18.5" matters.

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm There are a lot of non-restricted semi-auto's, including a ton of 22s. Semi automatics are not automatically restricted though some semi-autos are named (by law) to be restricted. As long as the barrel is over 18.5", the gun is usually good...

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm Depends...you're technically not required to be a member of a gun club but invariably the reason given for acquiring a restricted firearm is for target shooting. If the CFO were to ever believe the reason for acquiring the firearm is not being...
