you guys think this is a fair price? I've been trying to come to some ideas of what I should budget, but honestly, there aren't a lot of triples for sale. Actually, there aren't a whole lot of any of the bikes mentioned in this thread. There are some, but I'm trying to stay somewhat close to...

I notice a pretty good jump in my insurance when I move to any race ready or supersport bike....and even worse over 600cc....we're talking like a 250% increase over a standard 600cc bike

Here here...except the logic behind this may not work in Ontario....even if speed limits were raised, trucks can't drive faster that 106, unless they remove that restriction as well.

I sell things on forums and kijiji all the time. WHen I get jerked around, I usually increase the price by 25%. that usually puts an end to the shenanigans.

I got lots of time to decide....I'm not in any rush seeing as how there isn't much time left this season anyways...the CB500f is a great looking bike though. Decisions, decisions...

only problem is that the street triple is hard to find used...or at the least is far more expensive. I like the look of the other bikes, but I can't justify going over $800 a year for insurance...kind of an arbitrary amount, but still.

a 2014 street triple r came in at $650....the FZ-09 was over twice that.

insurance is pretty expensive over 600cc....any ideas for something a little smaller?

I prefer a naked bike....just like the look a lot better.

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm Yeah...as I recall on non-semi auto's you can can cut the barrels down, but not below 18" I think, or else it goes prohib. Having said that, if the factory produces a short barrel for the gun that is say 12", you're ok to change that out...
