Tried the restore wipe or w.e worked mediocre at best. Also dont have a heat gun and am too much of a pussy to try that LOL.
In the pictures the one on the left was the one I used the stuff on the one on the right is just as it was after the normal goo gone wipe down...
Picked up a new bike but it had stickers placed on the instrument gauge cluster trim, removed the stickers and removed the left over glue no problem. But the shade of black where the sticker was is so different than the surrounding area that it might as well still be there its so obvious. As...
I'm looking to pickup a 2nd gen SV650, but over half of them on kijiji are still 5k with over 40k km. What would any of you pay for an sv? I'm not scared of higher KMs, but I still want to be able to sell it when I'm done with it, not have to pay someone to take it lol.
Pressure is good, everything is tight, and to check the head bearing i just had the front in the air and started shaking the front, didn't notice any play/movement.
Got a pretty decent bar wander back and forth at slower speeds. Anything under/around 20kph it seems to want to wander back and forth while anything above the bike acts normal and wants to stay straight.
**** quality gif of said problem.

To the guys saying clean up the fairings, how do you do that without it looking worse? I think everytime ive seen someone try and paint the fairings themselves it has always looked worse than what it did before. Or maybe they just suck at doing it as much as i suck at riding, who knows:rolleyes:
Was planning on selling my bike at the end of the season but I just went full retard and rashed it all up. It was originally probably going to only get me around $2000. Now that ive broken a mirror, rashed the whole left fairing and side of the motor, and clutch lever I imagine ill have to pay...
Re: If you participated in this ride smarten up!!!!!
griff, please never change. Everyone else, please never stop responding. I can always use a morning laugh.
I don't know what a reasonable price is for an early/mid 2000's 600 SS, but these guys that want $6000 for their bike from 2004 with like 30k km, say it's mint then continue to say it's been dropped at a stand still one time seem crazy
I'm in as long as you can tolerate a mediocre rider and a definitly more than mediocre gs500. I'll be coming from Whitby, it'll take an hour or so to get to the meet spot.
