As I said earlier in the thread, I want to ride this week, I was hoping for Monday but that isn't going to happen given my work schedule. What about Tuesday or Wednesday? It's getting colder and wet later in the week.
As for where to ride, either hockley-Creemore, Terra Nova or the Bethany rides.
Mission Cycle on Mill Street in Angus is around the corner from the tracks and they have a large parking lot. Apart from that, I remember seeing a few gravel areas close to the beginning that will accommodate a truck/trailer easily.
Was supposed to be going to the UK this week for two weeks but now it looks like I'm not leaving until the following Monday (the 16th) so I might ride a bit on Saturday afternoon (tomorrow) but I also definitely want to do another full day ride this coming week during the week. Who is up for a...
I like the orange one I posted. Which one are you talking about, this one: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-dirt-bikes-motocross/city-of-toronto/ktm-950-adventure/1103932935?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
i like it too, mileage is higher and I love the 17" rims for touring / canyon carving but I think...
Nam, where are the pictures and videos? Share some epic fails and triumphs!
Also, depending on family and plans and weather, I could be convinced to go riding on Saturday if anyone wants to join (I know you work weekends Nam, sorry). I may end up having to be in the UK for a week or two...
Nam is saving his pennies for suspension and spoked 19/17 wheels - if you're going to keep riding off road, you need those things. It's a pity though how expensive the rally raid stuff is and I'm willing to bet that there are other options for wheels aside from rally raid.
On the 950/990 adventure, the oil drain hose kit makes a huge difference in effort for oil changes.

Stop looking down at the ground / road when u-turning. Your front wheel knows what it needs to do when you turn your handlebar - it doesn't require your attention. If you keep your eyes up and look where you want to go, your body and your bike will do what they need to do to get you there...
I will also say that Supernam is definitely deserving of his forum name - he's got massive balls and seems to be willing to try anything with no fear. He definitely got his share of laying the bike down yesterday including one poorly executed u-turn on a wide gravel road. He pulled the turn, was...
Thanks for joining us, it was a blast though I know your bike took a ****-kicking today. Glad to hear you got back home safely and I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures and videos of the epic fails and triumphs from today :)
for or the rest of you, you missed a great day of riding -...
Re: GTA area dirt / gravel riding routes and tracks plus GPX viewer links
Let's hope this coming weekend is decent as well - I'm not ready to pack it in for off road riding this season.
Nam, make sure you bring your scuba suit tomorrow - trails are wet and since you did so well last time, you...
Re: GTA area dirt / gravel riding routes and tracks plus GPX viewer links
I don't remember meeting before. Could there be another Alon on a KTM 530? Just call in sick - work will totally understand when they see the weather forecast :) maybe we met at the mill street pub on the Creemore...
