I went down and shattered mine in 3 places in Aug 2011. It was really bad from the x-rays as the bones weren't even close to touching. I went to the Emerg at Credit Valley to get it looked at. They then scheduled my surgery at Trillium Hospital at Hurontario and Dundas. I had to wait 4 weeks...

What equipment is available to rent? I only have a street bike (Street triple R) and I don't have a full racing suit.

This was a fun read so far! I took an extended lunch just to get caught up. I dream to do this one summer but being a responsible adult (going to work) gets in the way. Ride safe and thanks for the inspiration!

Passed my M last Tuesday at Downsview. This is the exact route as posted by Xhumeka (Thanks for your help!). Practising the route definitely helped as during the day, traffic and construction is a huge mess that can be overwhelming at times. Add the fact that the headset works MOST of the time...

OP - I'm sorry to hear about your spill and glad it's all sorted and back to normal. Downtown Toronto is a good death trap after a rainfall (especially King and Queen) and does require the A-game. It's either avoid taxis, man holes, pot holes, street-car tracks, pedestrians, bad/ angry drivers...

I was told to keep right foot engaged on brake, left foot is down while keeping it in gear. Not sure if they are THAT picky but most definitely the brake light needs to be activated.

Mine is coming up in 3 weeks at Downsview! I spoke to one guy yesterday and they said last year they made him actually "park"... Is that even true? I know of a roadside emergency stop as a test but no one has ever mentioned they were tested on 'proper parking'... Anyways, wish me luck!
