Yea - the R6 would be sweet on the track. A 600 is a perfect place to start - and like Randy said, you'll save on tires. I wouldn't worry too much about the stock suspension either. Mine is still stock, and I had it professionally set-up at the track in shannonville. I though it was pretty good...
