    i don;t think they are supposed too. Both of my bikes where made in italy, and no duties on either somone also posted a link a few pages back, showing there should be no duty on bikes

    i love how it;s always up to each officers discretion. One might let you go, one might seize your car. gotta love it lol BUT i was told when i called couple years ago, that it was perfectly fine just bring the paper work to your local customs office pay the duties blah blah ect... I do agree...

    I would nto worry about the canadian tire inspection. that is a joke, sucha waste of time. As long as the sticker is present, like you said, you are good. Even getting it certified you shouldn;t have a problem. IF you do go elsewhere

    i have never done it but was told you can take the title to any customs office, hand in the title and do the paper work that way. your best bet is to call RIV and ask them what needs to be done for a US bike that is already in Canada

    does anyone know if you can import an older bike from a state that does not issue titles for that year an example is Connecticut, they don;t issue titles for car/bikes older than 15 or 20 years i forget there is a 1969 honda cb750 that i would ahve bought if i knew what can be done
