Yes, I use both together if I need to stop quickly.

The barrier isn't that high. A wave is easily seen across it. I ride with one hand on the highway a lot of times anyway, so might as well put it to better use waving.

Aww I'm sorry. If you see my other thread about divided highway waving you'll know why. :( I hate it when people don't wave back to me, and I hate it even more when I miss waving back to someone.

Okay, another thread about waving. I find that 95% of female riders I pass don't even wave back. What's up with that? I'm a female too, so why don't you wave to me? :( Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

I find that most motorcyclists don't wave when we're on a divided highway. So, I don't even bother to wave. The odd person does wave though, and I always feel bad for not putting my hand out fast enough before they're past. :( Does anyone else feel this way?

I have a tank bag on mine, and yes it has scratched it a bit over time. :( I also have a tailbag. Maybe that would be a better choice for you if you're worried about scratching.

I have an icon tank bag, and I have never had it come off. Actually one time I threw it on my tank in a rush, and forgot to make sure all the magnets were on properly. I rode down the highway, and got to where I was going, and noticed the bag had stayed on with only 1 or 2 magnets barely holding it.

I don't weave when the cars get closer in case they don't know what I'm doing, and overreact. I ALWAYS ride in the blocking lane. I really don't think cars can see you in that lane unless they come way out to pass. The right side of the lane would be easier for cars to see you I would think...

While riding on a straight stretch, is it a good thing to weave slowly back and forth a bit so cars wanting to pass will see me? Riding by myself I'm traveling beside the yellow line, so cars tucked up behind another car ready to pass might not see me in that lane. Just wondered for safety...

I haven't tried it yet, cause I was too worried of making them mad, and them doing something stupid.
