Also, take the safety course...i did it just for insurance purposes and i ended up learning some stuff and meeting cool people...IT IS A MUST!

Seriously, i'm going to have to agree with this post. - i would also like to emphasize the importance of having exprience on bikes versus a brand new rider... my first bike was a zx12r - now i'm 150 pounds soaking wet, but i got the bike i wanted an rode it for 8 years with no problems... but...
