Entirely possible, it hasn't been at some major auto shows in the US I know, maybe they took it away to appear elsewhere. It is still pre-production after all.
On a different, more motorcycle related note, I learned at the bike show there is now another dealer for Zero in Ontario - Classy...
Autoshow rep's are for the most part tools, in my experience. They are right about the new rebates though but that is the maximum, which will only apply to some cars.
If you need 300km all-electric range check out the new Chevy Bolt it should be arriving at dealers later this year. It should...
I got a quote last year from State Farm (have had my car and house with them forever) for my new bike and they wanted over $900 / year. I went with TD instead. This year TD went up 10%, so I checked with State Farm again. New quote is $541 per year. Guess I'll be going back to State Farm!
I talked to the MTO last year about why they weren't offering green plates / rebates to electric bikes (like the Zero). They are well aware of their existence, the market is just to tiny for them to bother. Based on the new rebates and bikes still not being included I guess nothing has changed...
Got my letter this week. 2014 Wee, just bought new in August. Havent had a valve check done yet, only at 3000km. Guess ill be taking it in when the weather improves.
Well within the margin of error of most bike speedo's anyway.
The city is proposing rumble strips only for now, they will be in the straightaway section. Not that big of a deal as long as they are well signed IMO.
Here is a higher resolution version of the map:
Rode through the Catskills, Vermont and Quebec right at the start of fall. Vermont was epic. Upset I didn't make it to Mt Washington, NH as planned - always next year.
Only works the first time or two you see it. It's been there for over a week. Of course once you get lulled into a false sense of security one day they'll swap it for a real one!
I got the Exustar Alpen Waterproof boots at Town Moto. They were $129+tax when I got them ~2 years ago, I guess the exchange rate has made the price go up. At the time they were the cheapest waterproof boot I could find.
Unfortunately one of my boots had a manufacturing defect and the sole fell...
Also going to give crossborderpicks a try, especially in the winter when driving down to Niagara Falls is iffy. I didn't make it for over a month last winter due to snow storms on the days I was planning to go. I always declare everything - I've been let through a few times without paying but...
TZ-R is old and discontinued. Qwest is pretty readily available, you will definitely find some at Royal on sale this weekend. Note that I took my helmet with me when trying on glasses, some frames work better with helmets than others. Especially sunglasses.
Tried the Shark modular on a few weeks ago at GP Bikes, didn't like it at all. Felt cheap to me (I've been riding with Shoei for the past 6 years) and I couldn't get my glasses to fit comfortably despite them claiming they have eyeglass frame "channels".
Was thinking about getting a Shoei...
