Update... Went out to Royal's site and of course the batteries are not the same. But the upgraded battery for the sled also fits some other bikes. I am thinking I just buy the bike battery and make it fit the sled (since its the one less used, and also has the most room to adjust size.
Any...
So my battery cooked last summer, and it was late enough in the season that I didn't replace it thinking I would this season.
Cut to this year, and I have 3 snowmobiles and only 2 working batteries. But its so late in the year, and we use the 3rd sled so little that I don't want to buy a new...
I have an 07 version of this bike as the ZZR600. Its 100% the same bike for parts. From the pics, despite what others have noted, I don't see any damage. The rash on the left side looks more like a bad camera or bad downscaling of the image to me. The clutch and brake levers have independent...
Looking at Kijiji, there are a million people selling 8 gig Nanos for next to nothing (less than I paid for the navigate). For the convenience, I think I will pick one up.
I also have a Sirius Stilleto 2 with a built in antenna that can pick up Sirius on the go (works perfect stationary in the backyard but less so at speed on the bike), but records songs from Sirius for playback, and also has a 16 gig mini SDHC in it. The wheel on it is a click wheel iPod type...
Very cool. $230 US means 3 bills with tax here though. There has to be something better for 3 bills. Bluetooth audio is something I thought about as well.
I paid dearly for my iPhone (factory unlocked 32 gig 4), but always with the intention that I was going to use it normally while taking all steps to protect it. As a result, with just a thin Invisibleshield all the way around (no case), it looks brand new still, no scratches on it. Easier to...
I have owned a variety of i products over the year, and have devised various ways of listening to them while on my bikes. Right now, I have a Griffin Navigate with a 30 pin connector that extends to the "trunk" of my ZX6, and a male/female headphone plug that terminates right by my left leg. I...
To be fair, in Ontario, there is a direct cost when you finance to register the lein against you. If you are OTD debit card, there should be no extra charges. Credit card, and they may ding you 2% of the transaction (since they are paying between 1.5% and 2%)
Royal in Guelph had mine for $400 end of season last year during the tent sale. No tax then either, so $400 carry out the store.
I was in there in the Spring and they had the same one for the sale price (other colours $500+). Its the Monolith TC-5 (still showing on the shoei site).
I would agree with that. When we did our VW we were talking about financing for less than 5 mins before approval, then in there another 25 to SIGN the stuff. Pre-deal committment was only 5 mins or so.
In fact, where I work doing financing for a major manufacturer, all your info can be in our...
If you did that with us, you wouldn't be dealing with us very long. If you are helping with the down payment by messing with the invoice amount, that is screwing up the loan to value calculation, and the credit folks wouldn't like that very much.
I see you are in Brantford. My neighbour has his buddy in Paris do his. I was skeptical, but he did it for me on a Saturday night this past spring in about 1 hour. Left the bike (tires on) and the new tires, and he did it for $70 cash all in. I have a ZZR600. Put many miles on since, and...
For those of you who live in fear of losing your baby, check out this thing:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=67686
$200 USD, comes with 1 year of service. Tracked through Rogers Edge network. Seems like 2nd year is $50 USD for the tracking package, including geo-fence (meaning the...
Mine rode all season, first born in January. I swear my daughter's wild side is from all the miles on the bike.
With the second it has been harder to get out (seeing as we need care for the first) but we still made Friday the 13th and have a trip planned for Sept (number 2 due in late November)
If I never leave a deposit, I never need to contact OMVIC if I run into a shady dealer, now do I?
I work in financing for a major manufacturer. Its not that much work to get financing going. That line would never work on me.
We have had a rough go the last 2 years with construction, that's for sure. Agreed with MacDoc when they did the QEW the guy running the pavement cutting machine was cross eyed and wandered something fierce. I especially liked West bound just past #6 on the curve when the pavement was all tore...
