I read Manuel it says top up through res.

Can I top up through the res or doin gotta flush everything out?

Quick update- putting new spark plugs and battery in i noticed there no coolant. Could this be why the bike doesn't fire up?

I will try everything I can before I sell it for parts. It just happened after i jumped it with a car so I don't think it's something major mechanical. ok i will do it manually. thanks for the tip

SV forums saying clutch plates sticking on the sv650 are common to rock the bike back and forth till they unstick. or open it up and unstick it manually.

yes engine turns over freely.

as i said im not trying sink a small fortune into the bike as im trying to sell it to get into dirt biking.

apparently theres a trick to put a screw driver on starter relay and try starting it that way?

Going today to pick the bike up and put new spark plugs in, check clutch plates, add seafoam and if possible check out one of those salvage yards you posted.

I'm thinking it's just the clutch plates stuck together.

What should I look at first for my no neutral problem??. Well I have neutral just the bike tire is locked up.

Not even sure this is first time in 4 years that I had problems after winter storage Yes oil changed less the 800km ago if even that and yes at the proper level also.

Yes all fuses were ok. Yea the bike has less then 800km since last oil change. I usually do one before storage but not this time. The levels were in middle between full and empty when I check them and oil very clean.

I got it to bump start 1 time with the old battery. never worked after that (prob because i jump started it with a car battery and fried it). i cannot roll it anymore withe the clutch in. even in neutral I can get the bike into neutral but the rear wheel keeps locking up for some reason.

the aftermarket battery that i used to jump worked fine for 2 years. i tried a brand new stock battery after and it wouldn't even turn over.

another question. if it cranks over but doesn't fire up only if the battery is being jumped. But with a brand new battery nothing happens what could that be? lights come on and fuel pump turns on but no crank nothing

ok thanks. im going to get a new battery tomorrow and install with new spark plug. i have to get a smaller battery because of my battery box mod because of the rear shock. if that doesn't work i will grab the ECU off kijiji hopefully that will work.

also dumb question. Is ECU AND ECM the same thing?

Nice find!! i just messaged him. Do i install the ECM while the battery is disconnected? then connect the batter when everything is plugged in? How do you reverse the battery polarity?
