That's pretty much what I was thinking.. Even if it runs well.. what can happen 5k from now on something with that many km.
I'm taking a serious look at this one: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes/barrie/1999-honda-cbr600-f4/1361590543
Thoughts?
I have spoken with him and he will be...
The person has already responded. Says they serviced it themself.. Rode it to Cali and back.
Def like to see maintenance records if possible and most likely would ask to have it looked at and possible certified if they are willing to for a guaranteed sale.
LOL Ye sorry... I wasn't trying to be rude or anything.. this was just talked about on page 4 and kinda came to the conclusion I should probably look for a bike that comes with clip ons vs modding it myself.
Yes the idea was that I would need to lower the front in order to put on clips ons vs...

Price: $*1,500
83,000km seems like a lot.. How much life does the bike have left even...
Ah, I didn't think it was super simple to do or anything. I know there are replacement parts that have to go in to do it properly. I will def take that into consideration when looking.
That's a nice bike, we'll see if it's available in a couple weeks from now.
Wish it were that easy.. Bills...
LOL I KNOW I only have 2k in my pocket right now.. hence the title of this thread..
When I say lowered I meant the front being lowered by up to 1.75 inchs to accommodate for a clip on kit like woodcraft or something...
That's not even the right bike, that was my mistake... The youtube shows an R
There's a few CBR600F4s on my fav list in kijiji but there prices are a little higher.. more in the 2500-3k+ range.. that's why I said i'll probably wait a few more weeks..

Edit 2: Opps didn't realize it was an FZ6R not an FZ6 lol
Don't worry this is not something I will be taking on without a lot of research and actually talking to people.
From my initial research the ones that have done the front fork lowering and clip on mods have had good responses.
From what I am seeing, in order for the handlebars not to touch the...
Would you suggest not to do that mod should I get a FZ6?
Hence why I am waiting to find something that might already have clip ons that would work for me..
Overall from what I've read the FZ6 would work best for my needs.. this includes slight possible mods
I'm really liking what I am seeing with the FZ6 overall and I think it is a bike that fits what I am looking for..
It's not crazy expensive to have that fixed.. I spoke to a mechanic and he said it would be roughly $500 with the cert...
I think waiting even a couple weeks longer will be...

Dat one?... I agree.. my only concern is the "Will probably need the front fork seals and rear brake pads for safety"
Sounds like I would have to drop an additional $500+ to get it to safety standard and road worthy... +...
So with what I have right now, I could safely afford one of these below..
What are you're thoughts.. any stand outs?

Absolutely.. I am not in a rush but I would really like to get back onto a bike as soon as possible... This subway commute to work is driving me nuts..
Those are all great suggestions thank you!
Ye kinda weird that he moved it there. Could it be he just is up there himself and he placed a new ad not realizing it would show for where he is now rather than markham which was the original location.
Or it could be hot.. just saying
That yellow 2009...
