thanks dricked.
I tried that with no joy. There seems to be locking tabs on the top and bottom as well (added another pic).
No release lever for these either - guessing push release?
Seems like I need three hands to do this?
My experience is mostly with Yamaha and Suzuki wire harnesses. I've just recently started to work on my Honda and have come across these connections that I'm having a difficult time separating. I've searched and couldn't find anything.
The harness is old and not sure how brittle it is, but I...
Ahh... ok.
Not sure why, but I have a note to my self about Dalton Timmis insurance. I'm guessing I found a reference to it for grey market bike insurance. http://www.daltontimmis.com/divisions/home-for-chrome
Maybe worth investigating?
Cabbie's builds are nothing short of amazing.
If it were me I'd put the engine in a zxr400 roller.
This looks great and probably handles better than the original.
Great... but only if you're between 14 and 22.

I had to splice them in.

Pretty much this. The only other thing I would add is convenience. Needs to be easy to get to.
The model needs to change if you want to reach the masses. The workshop model that Rescue outlined where you could go somewhere nearby, on a re-occurring basis, cheap with not a big time commitment...
Absolutely EPIC!
Pretty much sums up every ride I take. I was out on the gamma the other night when one of my Toomey silencers decided it wanted to bail.
Have you got the jetting close?
Give it a few heat cycles, re-torque the engine bolts and then give it a proper two stroke rip.
Looking...
Yes, they did. They closed shop about a year and a half ago. I managed to score a pair of carbon fiber exhaust for their closing sale.
The American site did not cary much in terms of 2 stroke items (no real North American 2 stroke market but probably the reason Tyga did so well), and had no 2...
I got some stuff from Tyga Performance a couple of years ago.
I remember that shipping wasn't cheap, but I did not get dinged for duty from Canada post.
