As for riders from yesterday will know, TMP handed out flyers informing us all of an added track day for MAY 12th (Sunday). As an added bonus, if you pre register before MAY 8th you will receive any other track day held at TMP %50 off. The only catch is, you have to pre register both days before...
Other then some minor issues, great day.
Need to get in shape, my body quit on me after 330 :( lol
REMINDER : May 12th there is another tmp run lapping day and if you register before may 8th you will get a second track day half off!
Do you have the actual book? Is always a great read.... Even after highlighting %75 of it and having pages missing lol ;)
I also believe the newest one is an updated one more focused on GP riding tech. I would like to pick that up as well
Again, this happened to me last season (last track day of the year) my battery lives on the charger, yet when I got to the track itwould hold a ccharge and my father had to help me bump start it for every session.... But on the other hand, made me feel like and old school pro ;) hahaha new...
If it's lifting in 2nd without any troubles then yes I would drop a tooth. I know my front comes up at tmp (just before the quick chicane that really isn't a chicane lol pretty much straight through) but my front does come up in 2nd and that's just with ±2 in the back or +1 I can't remember lol...
Hahahah
Funny you mentioned bike keys! Last season I forgot them one time... Man was I ******... Messed the first session but oh well lol my own fault forgetting
Pretty sure I have just +1in the rear, I'm cruising in 2nd the whole time except for the 2 straights. On my old R6 I had - 1/+2 and it was a huge difference in acceleration. +3 in the back I think would be Ok, just never drop it in 1sr by accident or else it will be a wheelie machine.
Yes it hits my knuckles :(
I will practice on the blip. Using my palm to blip maybe. When I do try to blip, I notice I tug back and forth the the brake lever, causing jerky braking wich is the worst. And practicing that at over 200 going into turn 1 or 2 sucks lol but that's pretty much just...
I can adjust the lever but, it's to loose and feels like I'm not getting the full brake if it's that close (if you know what I mean) asv levers work great but for as close as I need it its very uncomfortable. And to think, I also lose time in turn 2,being just as fast as turn 1.i worked on...
Same here.
Going down the front strasight, I brake way to early but only because I'm trying to blip the throttle and brake at the same time and my little hands can't reach the brake lever, pull it in and blip the throttle to down shift at the same time. I have had mixed reviews on having to...
If it's like any other tmp track day, yellow will be the busiest. I'm signing up for red. Last year I was running comfortable in red so I'm sure I will fit right in lol
If it was a weekend date, it would be in... But unfortunately I wouldn't be able to make it with already having 3 days off this month. If you guys get a weekend date scheduled, count me in
