Joe Rocket Speedmaster Boots Sz 11. $100 These boots are mint condition and are super protective. Big carbon fibre shin guard. Selling because I never wear them now that I have Sidi's. Regularly apply Super 7 protectant (makes them look shiny in the pictures with the flash). Good for...

River Road Mojave Mesh Pants (Sz 34), $50.

River Road Mojave Mesh Pants (Sz 34), $50 - SOLD SOLD - Bought these years ago and wore them briefly until I got my Alter Ego pants and they've been sitting in my closet since. Awesome pants for a sport bike rider, perfect for the street when you don't want to wear full leathers. They are...

Toronto to Halifax on a Ninja 250! (?)

Me and a buddy did Guelph to Cape Breton last May, terrible weather, and we did the round trip in 4 days. Last day we did Moncton to Guelph, stopped to get a new rear tire that was our main break other than gas... We were both on 2001 ZZR250s, it was a hell of a slog lol, but good story to...

    insurance for an older standard

I'm in the same boat. Been paying way too much on my '79 KZ400 for the last couple years, it went up more this year too. Would have been $1065 with Jevco for liability (I'm 26/M2 for 4 seasons insured/1ticket), for comparison my 2008 Ninja 650R with Jevco would have been #1065 for liability...

So I Got Insurance Quote For Brand New 2011 Ninja 650R

I'm 26, M2 for 4 seasons (insured the whole time) and I just took my 2008 Ninja 650R to TD Meloche Monnex, $969 full coverage.

Cheapo ($50) Stereo bluetooh headset and intercom review (deal extreme)

An update on mine. So far I'm impressed for the money. Music sounds fine with earplugs in, my right speaker distorts at top volume (needs to be this high with plugs in) and sounds like its blown - has been like this since the start, odd cuz the left is fine. I turned on the EQ and set it to...

    Going to royal whitby?

Is this a new policy? When I bought my TZR years ago I asked about price matching and they said they didn't do it. So I drove out to GP bikes, a considerable distance from me, but got the helmet for $299 instead of $399.

    TD Insurance

I've been with Jevco since I started riding 4 years ago. Called around this year, and TD full on my 250 was $477 vs $818 at Jevco, both basic coverage. On my new 650 Jevco was $1600 full coverage vs TD $969. Needless to say I switched, they offer a multibike discount as well.

Rode to Ottawa from Toronto on a 250 Ninja.

Yes it does, use the regular fuel the bike was designed to run on. You'll save money and likely make MORE power than with premium.

Rode to Ottawa from Toronto on a 250 Ninja.

Rode mine to Cape Breton and back in 4 days last may through ridiculous rain in freezing weather. Still have to do a write up of that miserable trip lol.

Hey everyone, I've got a wall of text for you (and some questions)

WHOA 15k lol. When I was a little younger than you I got my first bike (Ninja 250) and gear/year insurance for 6k maybe... I want to get on the track too, but it's a lot easier for me to justify my street bike with 1.40 gas than it is to justify going to the track. It is WAYYYYY safer though...

Duffy: Jevco 2011 changes - sneak preview

No idea, I was floored. Would cost me next to nothing to insure my KZ400 if they did old bikes. Pretty nice discount that is for sure EDIT: I'm trying to see where I got 25% from, might have been my rough calculation after getting quotes for two. On their website it just says "Multi-Bike...

Duffy: Jevco 2011 changes - sneak preview

Wow I would have been eligible for 10% off, was with them for 4 years and two bikes but the rates I got this year were ridiculous and TD killed them so I left. Sucks because the reason I stayed so long was I like my broker. Oh well, if TD insured bikes over 30 years then I'd really be...

    2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (ZZR250)

Selling my 2001 Ninja 250, I’m the second owner and I bought the bike in 2007 with only 1200kms on it. Bike is completely stock except for added heated grips. Will throw in a set of saddle bags as well. All maintenance done including: fork seals at 10k, carbs cleaned last April, regular valve...

Need Second Opinions On The Biggest Bike F Up

+1 My god that's nuts, the 500 for wheels seems crazy to me but I have no idea, but the 2G body shop is totally insane.
