In practice, you're trying to find out the speed where you can't make those moves at. As you practice, that speed will get higher and higher until you've met the speed that your bike can physically handle in that corner. Supposedly, as humans, we will never find that speed due to human error...
This is the same with any police unit. But realistically, what would the police rather deal with? A non-violent person who poses no threat or someone who has committed a serious crime? Remember, these are the same people you see at Tim Hortons / Starbucks. "Sorry, can't get to the crime scene...
That should be common sense that you don't decelerate until you've exited the highway. Highway merging is different because you're not going to merge any more or less than 10km/h with respect to the current traffic. Anyways, 80 sounds slow for those ramps. This is why we use them for practice.
If you get 172'd, you're still out of the immediate penalties.
idk why any rider out there is against using ramps for practice. Late at night, no one is around, variables are blocked by barriers... it's basically the track without formality. The most ideal conditions are there for practice.
If you live in a condo, there are bound to be scummy renters / drug dealers / criminals in there. It doesn't matter if strata prohibits rentals, it will still happen. I don't see how this is a surprise to anyone not living under a rock.
Use some smaller displacement motorcycles to slow down and block traffic. This will create some distance to race. The trick is to block the section a good KM or more behind where you want to duke it out. The amount of time this consumes nullifies the ability for an effective police response.

Find someone who will put you on their next billing cycle for phone / tv / internet / hydro

Just for the record, you can get a bike plated without a license in BC. The system is really flawed. You can even insure a bike with only a learners license for just a regular cage.
Parking tickets is a no-no. Police are not hunting you down over a civil issue. These camera's are mainly to track stolen cars.
Just keep in mind that the only plates these guys can read are Ontario plates.
Um... no. Anyone filtering is legitimately trying to get to their destination faster and will have the reflexes to react and get out of the way instantly. Cagers who know that traffic is congested aren't going to be racing to the next light. Those cagers are going to be a lot more docile and...
Motorcycles take off instantly whereas cagers will not. Motorcycles filtering does not affect the flow of traffic negatively. It takes me a fraction of a second to take off while a cager might take a second or two.
If you aren't intending to accelerate quickly while filtering, filtering isn't...
It's done by the honor system (aka always check "no"). Personally, it's just easier to never get screened for anything to begin with. If there's a problem, it isn't your problem, it's the taxpayer's problem.
You're doing it wrong.
If you're that regular at it, beware that the police may be onto you at some point. If they receive enough calls of "Motorcycle is doing [insert offense here] at [insert time of day here]" they might show up at that spot and give you ****.
If you're on a grid, try it on...
At least the ones with road rage issues are acknowledging your presence instead of looking down at their phone. Road rage isn't that bad. Those that act on it though....
Sure they could. But was it the same rider as the one who was lane splitting?
Any traffic unit is probably alerted with a description of the bike while non traffic units aren't really looking out for you.
Stopping for a road block on a heat score ride... hmmm.... going on such a ride without the confidence, willingness and skills to avoid that confrontation is a recipe for disaster. Majority of riders knew what they were getting themselves into and knew what they were doing. They went home and...
