Went through $30 worth of cobalt and titanium drill bits just for my oil drain bolt.
Ran out of bits so I used a $1.00 all purpose wood bit... Done in two minutes. Wtf.
Oh, and installed 16t front sprocket and some stomp grip.
Hard to say, I cycle through 3-4 pairs depending on the ride and the weather.
I think it's probably time to put them to pasture. But I've always enjoyed finding out things the hard way for some reason.
I think someone above mentioned bickle gloves. Gonna check those out.
That's weird cause mine are 8 yrs old and in fairly good condition. (For 8yrs IMO)
Don't "need" a new set of gloves but I can't help but wonder how well an 8 yr old pair of gloves will hold up in a low side.
I had a friend buy a pair simply because for $140 he couldn't find a glove that looked as good or looked as well built as the fakes.
All the parts are real, it really is just a question of what kind of thread was used and unfortunately there's only one way to know how well they'd hold up.
Story: apparently
Brother owns a small store in the states. He has to buy a certain number of gloves to keep A*. What he doesn't sell (last years gloves) he brings up here.
Have to look at them to see if there are any tell tale signs but apparently some of the fakes are nearly identical tough...

Too cheap to be real right?
I know the fake gloves are out there. I'm waiting to hear back from him to see what his story is.
Thanks
Yes - suspension
It's amazing how helpful it is to watch yourself. It's pretty easy to see where you are going wrong w/ line, speed body position etc.
Ok so here is some video.
3rd ever Trackday
1st session of the day
1st time with the GSX-R
1st time with GPAs
1st time with warmers
Don't worry I have big boy shoulders. ;)
Check out this video on YouTube:

This is all great info. The tire pressures and also that others have same wear is great to know.
Hopefully all front brake parts (and stompgrip) will be in before this weekend and I can get out two weekends in a row.
I'll try that for next Trackday. I set 29/22 cold put the Warmers on and just went with it for the whole day. They were just so much better than street tires I didn't even think to recheck temps with Warmers and after sessions
I just got it right off dunlop website.
Those are cold pressures.
So add 2-4psi For hot?
Yes completely stock but a revalve and respring is in the works
6'2
225lbs
Front 29psi 120/70
rear 22psi 190/60
Going through turn 1 there's that bump and it was very apparent I was out of suspension. Lol
All I felt (or believed to feel[newbie]) was a tire wallowing to the edge.
No geometry changes.
I think I mentioned it above, I absolutely need to do suspension before I want to push more. From what I know/understand, If you saw the wear on the front(basically no chicken strip) vs rear (1/8-1/4 inch) I was close to losing the front. Most likely in turn 3 where I know I was way more over...
