The GoPro hero white is $249 at Best Buy and the GoPro hero black is $349. I don't want to spend $349 for the GoPro hero black unless it's on sale for a crazy discount. So what's the best camera that I can get for $200ish as I'm hearing that the white isn't the best option.

But are these other cameras as good as go pros? Would be nice to hear from someone whose owned a go pro vs alternatives to go pro.

Don't want to burst your bubble, I know the thread is about ABS and paint scheme of the bike. However, you will be cautioned on starting on a super sport 600 cc bike. Generally, speaking these bikes are not the best for beginners.

You need to have the original pink slips issued by your insurance company( there is a reason as to why they give you more than one and a reason why they are "pink slips") only exception would be if you just purchased the vehicle/motorcycle and your insurance company emailed you temp slips. Once...
Very nice bike. Good that you went with the Akra pipe, it's quality stuff and sounds great. Also, the black and red exhaust matches the paint/colour scheme of the bike.
Does, she do this all of the time or was it just Sunday? Riding on Sunday wouldn't have been fun for anyone as it was extremely windy. What bike does she own?

I have these and they are great. Love the fact that they are low profile. As stated the top strap if done up too tight can irritate the back of the knee. I remedy this by just tightening the bottom two straps more and leaving the top one loose.

Wow, pretty irresponsible. When watching it I was like "how is this squid going to take the hairpin"? Actually, last year a rider was killed at the forks. Thanks for posting, this should be moved to the main board so that noobs/squids can see this!

Most people who have a SS want that clean look. However, safety should be number 1. As mentioned, flushmounts are useless from a safety standpoint. With the 600rr is there a fender eliminator option that uses the stock turn signals?
For your first bike, buy used and try to stay away from the financing as you'll probably want to upgrade in a year or two (depending on how much you ride). The 250r's are starter bikes. Take the course first to see whether or not motorcycling is for you. Also, in regards to you buying that...
Yeah, I'm with State Farm and if it wasn't for my few tickets I'd have an insanely cheap rate for a SS. However, due to the few tickets I got, I was hammered. And yes, we start with one and think it's no big deal until we get the second. Great thread keep the info flowing.

GSXR-600? w/ Go Pro cam mounted on the tail of the bike on Mavis close to the 407 @ approx 6:00 pm. At one point you stood up on the pegs. You were boxed in by traffic and I could tell you wanted to go. (Traffic on Mavis is crappy) Thought you were actually going to lane split at one point...
$3200 for a 2001 Ninja 250r is robbery! The newer generation 2008 - 2012 go for that much. As mentioned, buying a bike at this time of year is costly. Good luck with your search.
