That's one automatic flag for me, even looking through pictures on listings online. I'm starting to notice flaws from photos to rule out some bikes listed too low. I'm learning, go me!

Four riders pulled into Parkview Gardens off Bloor W this morning in front of my cafe, two Honda Rebels (one for sure, the other yellow not a hundred percent), a big ol red cruiser and I didn't catch the fourth. I waved but don't think you saw me. Come in next time if you've got the time!

Ohhhhhhh man, that's the bike I want to end up on. Getting so much flack wanting to start on it as a new rider, so going with a 250 Honda for now. (Though the styling of the cb200's is more my jam.) Absolutely gorgeous, and if you passed me on the street I'd openly stare.

The more he tells me about it, the more I'm wary of it. Damn shame because it's gorgeous and would suit me perfectly. Thanks for replying!

The seller says the clutch is going, will need to be replaced. He won't safety it - not sure if it's a cost thing, or he doesn't think it would pass.

That's awesome! Curious how you feel about the front brake being a drum? I've heard some grumbling about it, not sure if I should be concerned it's not as safe a ride as a newer bike with disc brakes up front?

I am definitely bringing someone with me, have a friend who I just discovered has a pick up truck as well (hello transport!) that has ridden since he was a kid, supposed to be coming. If he bails on me, I'll reschedule the visit. With a less than perfect clutch, I'm worried about getting on the...

Just heard from the seller, he's saying the clutch seems a bit tired, will need replacing shortly. Costly replacement?

Rad, thank you! I'll look into the salvage yards list, that will be handy to have. I think I'm going to see it tomorrow, as long as work doesn't get too hectic in the afternoon. Fingers crossed!

If I can get the seller to hold out until I finish my training course Sept 15th, this is probably what I'll do. Except I'll ride out on the back of my friends bike, and he can follow to make sure I don't die on the way home, ha. Elizabeth
