I have a 250cc bike i use in the city and my 600cc for long trips. lower cc bikes are way better on gas plus funner to ride in the city.

insurance is probably the reason people bought a lower ccc version. the jump from 500cc to 600cc on a bike is huge insurance (except for state farm, but state farm requires G drivers), esp for new riders
