Parking your bike at a GO station

Anyone have experience with this? From what I know GO parking lots are pretty bad for theft/abuse. The bike is insured but I would still be upset if it were stolen. Secondly, I wouldn't want to carry any of my equipment so I would be squid with my helmet attached to the back seat.

    Battery losing charge

Any insight as to why my battery may have died so quick? The bike is a 2010 the battery would only be three years old. I had been riding fine for the most part.

    Battery losing charge

Ok so I finally got a hold of a multimeter. I hooked it up to the battery under 20v DC and the battery literally showed nothing. The battery has been on a smart charger for like a week. The bike wouldn't start but the instrument panel did light up. I thought something was wrong with the...

They weren't calling for rain today

I know eh? If they did anything else for a living they would be fired. They must have advertisements "Suck at your job? Don't worry, be a meteorologist! Where there is always a chance of anything!"

Royal Distributing has a location in Whitby just down the street from GP Bikes. Royal is ok, but GP Bikes is the best.

Beginning my biking life in Canada

You pay for a years worth of insurance no matter what. Payments are only during riding months. Google CBIUSA. It's in Niagara Falls NY, you pay 6$ to ship things there and pick them up. You can probably borrow gear from people on this forum if you ask nicely. I did my course with hand me...

Beginning my biking life in Canada

If you can afford to, get a bike this fall. It the best time to get a deal on a motorcycle. If you have a place to store your bike you are better off buying it this year not next. If you insure it you wouldn't be paying premiums over the winter and it would still be covered for theft. In...

    Battery losing charge

So with a fully charged battery the bike doesn't turn over very well. I'm able to get the bike started and it runs beautifully after it ignites, but it takes 5-10s of turning before it starts. I usually press the starter for 5s pause, then 5s again and it starts on the second try. Since it...

    SALE! CTEK Battery Charger 3300

It looks like these Ctek cables are waterproof. Does that mean I can screw the eyelets on my battery terminal and attach the cable plug on my frame so I don't have to remove fairings and take my seat off when I want to charge the battery?

    Battery losing charge

Will do this as soon as I can. Don't have my own volt meter. After charging the bike the it turns over well (not surprising). Lately though it doesn't fire up right away even if it's turning over well. I'm looking at getting some Seafoam to see if that helps things, its my first experience...

    Battery losing charge

    1. Do you have a lot of electrical accessories, especially an alarm? No bike is stock 2. How often do you ride? Almost every day 3. By buzzing sound, do you mean the engine is still cranking or not? It would be weird if it didn't crank the first time at all (just clicked) but cranked the next...

    Battery losing charge

Hi all, So my bike started last night cold and it didn't start right away like normal. I took the bike to get gas this morning and it started ok, but when I restarted the bike at the gas station it gave me the buzz but started on the second try. I took the bike back home and drove to work...

    Ride to Work

This + leave your work shoes at work. You can leave your motorcycle gear under your desk if you dont have the table space.

Can someone help me checking a bike?

Probably worth look at the bike alone first before you bring someone. Buying a motorcycle can be a PITA. People will list a bike as mint condition never been dropped with clear damage on the bars and fender. It can be a total waste of time.

    Recommend a decent battery charger

Hey so I can get a Noco Genius 3500 for 33$ online or a Ctek 3300 for 53$. If they were the same price I would totally opt for the Ctek, but are they an extra 20$ better? Thoughts?

    Recommend a decent battery charger

Hey all, So I'm looking for a battery charger that can tend a motorcycle battery over the winter or charge my car battery. I don't know if the MotorMaster ones at CT are any good. Any recommendation for a smart charger? I know CT doesn't carry the CTEK anymore, I missed out on those. Also...

Does anyone else defend other riders on the road?

No absolutely not. Sure I keep my distance from riders when I drive my car, but I can't control other cagers. If the rider is uncomfortable he can usually just move.
