    Night goggles/glasses

I wear glasses and don't do well with contacts...and I'm on a cruiser now and enjoy wearing a half helmet usually. I found these online and bought them: http://www.maximumeyewear.com/productfolder/motorcycle-goggles/spider-over-glasses-goggles/spider-over-glasses-goggles.html#.Ubh42OfVC5I They...

Looking for a Kawasaki dealer on east side that stocks OEM parts.

This is perfect thanks, I called them and they have what I need - and they are very close on on Highway 7. I passed by this place a lot. Thanks again.

Looking for a Kawasaki dealer on east side that stocks OEM parts.

I need an air filter. With my Honda it was easy, plenty of Honda Powersports dealers around...not sure about my Kawi. I know I could go to GP Bikes or order online or order through Fly Squirrel...but I'd like to walk into an actual dealer if there is one :) Any recommendations? This is for a...

Where would I buy a battery for my Vulcan?

I've never had to replace a motorcycle battery before. Crappy Tire, or do I need to go to a bike shop? Thanks.

Vulcan 900 - brake light issue..

Posted on the Vulcan forum but I thought I'd reach out to the vast knowledge here.. The brake light on my Vulcan doesn't work, whether I hit the front or rear brakes. I changed the dual filiment bulb, didn't help. Someone told me they had a similar problem in their car and used a screwdriver...

Got a Halloween costume to ride in?

Now that I'm on a cruiser, I was thinking of putting my werewolf mask on with the beenie and riding around slowly in first gear, entertain the kids! My wife is all about Halloween so I know I'll score points for this - too bad I don't have a second beenie for her to ride pillion, perhaps a Ms...

    Chain slack

Of course! It was a D&D chain, decent brand. Call him up and he'll quote you on the phone.

    Chain slack

Answered above. You're downtown, check out Flying Squirrel Motorcycle shop at Carlaw and Dundas. I don't think he does the work but he can order the chain and direct you to a local mechanic. He sent a friend of mine to a retired Honda mechanic in the Victoria Park / Eglinton area. I tried...

    Chain slack

It was either $200 or $225 installed, if I recall correctly. They also use a unique silicon lube that they sell in cans for $10. I didn't have $10 at the time so I didn't buy it..

    Chain slack

Also want to add, if you decide to milk it for the rest of the season, make sure when you adjust the chain your rotate the wheel and check it in several spots. I think what happened with me, I adjusted it and didn't realize that the stiff links were there, so when the chain rotated around those...

    Chain slack

I had this issue last year, also near the end of the season. I changed the chain only and it was great for the rest of the year and this year - until I traded for a belt drive bike. When the mechanic at Rosey Toes took it off (not Ted, the other guy) lay it flat and showed me the tight links...

Removing scuffs from a matte black half helmet...

I guess I'll have to live with it....I'll make up a suitable story about how it got there, and where it as a badge of honor....or I'm sure my 6 year old daughter will find a Dora or Disney sticker to cover it up with!

Removing scuffs from a matte black half helmet...

I'm so upset...I just picked up this my new beanie style half helmet to go with my new cruiser a couple of weeks ago...it wasn't expensive but I still take care of my stuff....well today my friend asked me 'what happened' as I was wearing the helmet....there is a huge - toonie sized - scuff on...

    BEST place to buy half-helmet

Nothing wrong with trying a Harley Dealership. I went to the one down the street from GP bikes to compared tool bags, and the prices weren't bad...

    Recomendations: night glasses

Is there anywhere I can get a pair of motorcycle specific riding glasses (fashionable, with some sort of foam seal that sits on your face) - with prescription transition lenses?

    Crazy impulsive move today..

I just tested it with my phone GPS in my car...it seemed off a bit, but then it is a phone GPS. I have come to the conclusion that nobody really knows how fast they are going. The rotation of the earth must be broken and they're not telling us!

    Crazy impulsive move today..

From what I know the bike is stock but I'll check these things out. For almost $30,000 out the door you'd hope the Harley has an accurate speedo! I will try with GPS when I can as well...
