I've been there before and left happy. Tonight I left the shop with oil on my right caliper after changing the fork seals. Obviously they didn't check the bike after (road test). That's bad, no matter how busy you are.
crazy thought... but I know some bikes have a timing retard thingy for certain gears... i think it has something to do with noise levels testing... google zx636r timing retard eliminator. if your timing is altered in the 2nd gear then it's something to look at.
I did put some seafoam (actually the bottle says STP but it's identical to the seafoam bottle so I figured it's a rebrand) in the tank this year, as I do every year. I'm thinking that the hoses must be as old as the bike and it may be wise to change them all...
