Those two places look pretty sweet! But I think you are right that they are geared towards professionals or people involved in the race scene of which I am neither. I'm hoping to find a place like Motopark that is open all days of the week and is a pretty chill place to ride.
Unfortunately my bike has no horn lol. Oh well either way I didn't see you. Spent most my time deep into single track. Now all the leaves have fallen and you can see the trail bottom it's slippery plus there are hidden rocks and roots made for an interesting day. Had a great time though.
Yah I was on that track and trails website, I find they are very outdated, was hoping to get some first hand experience from a Toronto based individual. The other two riding area are cold / snow in the winter are they not?
I've bought a lot of bikes and a few cars / trucks new and have had a variety of experiences. I'll list some examples of my experiences.
-2008 DRZ400sm bought in summer 2008 (from Suzuki of Newmarket, there was a trade in, but overall the experience wasn't good and deal wasn't good, I learned...
Looking for ideas on places to ride in the winter. I'm considering taking a week and heading south at some point to do some riding. Interested in MX and trails. Anyone got any ideas or recommendations? I would love to find a place like Motopark with the facility and garage / mechanic type setup.
Fz750rider, send me a pm with your contact. I'm still going to the ganny. The weather might not be the greatest, but we needed the rain desperately. I think the ganny is a better choice after the rain. I rode the williams tract once after a rain fall and it was slick.
Just a shout out to anyone who can take time off during the week to go riding. I'm planning on going to Ganaraska this coming thursday. PM me if you want to meet up.
They are super sweet. Only issue I've had, is that it's not great on a motocross track. I rode the 15 practice tracks and beefed some of the jumps, bottomed out the front forks like a dozen times that day, hope I didn't do too much damage.
Yah the stock on my KTM are the Geomax AT81. They have 30 hours on them, and I'm guessing they will last 15-20 hours more, maybe...? I might be getting Either Michelin Starcross or Bridgestone Battlecross.
Hey man, I ride quite often during the week. I work a 6 on 3 off schedule (worst schedule ever for weekends) I pretty consistently ride every 7 or 8 days. Shoot me a PM if you want to go to the Ganny sometime or another area.
I feel that the OSET bikes (electric option) will be right for the young kids around 4-6 years of age. You can dial back the power on them, and I've heard of them going longer than 2 hours. I agree I wouldn't drive 1.5 hours to have 2 hour max run time. If your kids is just scooting around a...
Dual Sport Plus has OSET bikes on display. I'm buying my kids these bikes once they are 5. My plan is for them to ride locally at parks and stuff till they are older.
I found this, its a bit far for me though.
