i have quote from statefarm. and they don't lower the rate. actually, i just got quoted for a 650cc bike, $135/month liability only. that's more expensive than my car insurance.... the bike itself is only $3k....

I have my G for more than 15 years. No claims. 2 traffic ticket. got my M2 for 5 months. will my motorcycle insurance rate go down after 1 year of M2? I can't move up to a bigger engine since it costs a lot more now

basically i want my street riding to be more pleasant. And can travel with the flow of traffic better.

i have a klx250s right now, would i be doing the right thing to switch to a dz650? I probably would be using it to commute to work mostly.

ok i realize this thread was a bit out at sea. apologies on it. i just asked it here since it was weekend and at night time so I wanted to see if there was a general rule. yes, i did end up asking the parking office today. thanks to all who replied though.

it does have a parking lot, but it's for monthly passes. Usually I don't take my car to work.

thinking of riding to work this week. I found another thread in GTA archives. It says you can just go around the gate and park in the work parking lots? Is this true?

what bike do you have?

i did find some rust forming on the foot pegs and the shifter. chain also is forming some rust color, not sure if it's just the grease sticking to some particles. anything i can do about them now??

ok, i think it was the battery level. it wasn't cranking that quick actually. i did a quick 15 min charge and the realize it cranks faster than before. A few more tries after that, the bike started! I will also update my other thread about the kick stand switch breaking (separate issue) thanks

it's my first time owning a bike and starting it at the end of winter. When I tried to start it, the engine cranks, but it won't start. What could be the issue? I don't want to try it too many times (i might damage something?) it is klx-250s (not fuel injection). battery seem to be at ok...

i opened the switch and cleaned it. Put it back together and still same results. how long do I need to warm the bike up for? (in these temperatures?) also, i killed the battery while troubleshooting. :( Do I just get a battery tender and charge it?

i am riding a klx250s

Definitely no lurch forward. Feels like I kill switched it. But I didnt . All I did was pulled the clutch and stepped on the gear shifter. Actually I didn't even let the clutch out yet and the engine dies.

kick stand is up when i put it from neutral to 1st

could cold weather have something to do with it?

today, i started my bike. (in this cold weather, yes) it was running. I put it into 1st gear and the engine stops. I checked the kick stand switch, and there is nothing stuck. All moving parts seem to be moving. what could be the problem?

are they street legal? - With DOT, and worn with goggles (the motocross style)
