I bought a brand new 2007 cr125 in 2010. It was a leftover. Problem was someone had put gas in it (not sure why since it was brand new) back in 2007.How do I know this ? Because when I got it home before i even tried to start it I drained the carb. What came out literally looked like syrup. I...
I seriously considered picking up a 2012 WR250R but ended up getting the KTM 350EXC instead. It was a tough decision. I think long term the WR is an all round better bike and will require less maintenance but I am partial to KTM even with all the quirky issues they seem to have.
Just googled them. Seems like a nice boot. My MX boots are so stiff it's near impossible to walk in them. I have often thought if I was ever in a situation where I had to push my bike out of the woods for any distance I would have to take my boots off
Those Forma Adventure boots look like a great option. You could even wear them on a street bike. Seems like they Are more flexible than a typical mx boot but still good ankle support
The WR250R seems like an interesting bike. It would seem it's the only dual sport (and I use that term loosely) that comes anywhere close to ktm's lineup. No other manufacturers make a dual sport thats more orientated to dirt as opposed to road.
No need to purchase multiple jackets, layers etc, I tried many of these options. Just use your summer bike jacket and a tour master heated jacket (not vest) and tshirt underneath and you will never be cold again. Best investment I ever made. 3 heat settings for varying temps. Works perfect
Some people simply commented, some people over reacted and i am not sure why.I don't even look at it as a story about someone quitting riding. I just thought it was an interesting "motorcycle" story. He certainly wasn't trying to say no one should ride. Basically he is smart enough to know he...
To the OP.If you have been an ss rider all your life think twice about switching to a cruiser. Two different worlds. You may miss the adrenaline rush of an SS. In a perfect world you would have both but not always in the budget.
