There was a thread a while ago here on the forum asking members if they considered the CBR954RR a litre bike. I can't find the thread anymore, but I recall that most did not consider it a proper litre bike. I'm going by that.

I've never owned a litre bike, so I can't give you an opinion.

But who's to say that the sub-frame above the seat isn't adequate to prevent spray? Practically every bike out there has had their fender eliminated. What about bobtailing trucks?
