I agree with you man. regarding the liberation of riding with no gear- me, when I was in northern thailand for 12 months, i rode motorcycles on a daily basis on rural, city, and mountain roads.... with absolutely no gear ....and I enjoyed it. It did feel liberating. BUT- u go down....and u can...

those d-vests! ..... riding with no gear doesnt bother me. But riding with no gear + d-vest.....it drives me nuts. I just dont get it. pure squid.
