Hi all,
I thought I'd revive this thread by asking some questions:
Do the slight contours of the helmets make it difficult to securely fasten the suction mounts? does the surface to which you mount need to be flat? and finally, has anybody had any issues with the suction damaging the clear...
went to the show this morning and I found there were less items than in the January show. It appears that there were many more booths for Harley bikers this time around. Was it worth it? well sure, it allowed me to hang out drooling at the BMW, Ducati and Triumph bikes. Wasn't looking for...
Corrected it for you......I agree with the fact that you need to protect your kids by teaching them to do things safely (proper protection, technique etc), not shelter them. If they fall, let them get up on their own and you'll be surprised that they will go right back to what they were doing...
there's a review of this camera in this link. http://ultratechlife.com/ultra_reviews/rv_4268.php
you get what you pay for. this camera might be alright if you simply want it to record traffic and any mishaps you encounter on your ride. if you want to take quality videos it may not be all...
That is not indicative of anything. Have you read some of the posts on here? Talk about run-on sentences, poor sentence structure, poor grammar, poor spelling.
Now back to the topic at hand.....definitely could be a scam. I would never buy a bike if the owner wasn't available for the sale...
what gets me the most in some of these is how pedestrians keep walking even after they witnessed the accident; they sneak a peek and walk on and don't even stop to assist. Even drivers just drive around and away. Disgraceful.
This is so true, and that is what I am taking from this thread, there's no harm in taking courses. Some are better than others and hopefully in this site we can help each other filter out the not so worthwhile ones.
At some point in our lives we all have to make decisions. Some times these decisions go against what we want, we decide with what is best for others (family, wife, kids) rather than ourselves. I just got into riding, I read the article and thought how dare this guy try to dissuade me from...
my original post was whether the M2 exit course was worth the money or is it better spent on another course; I keep harping on courses because in my line of business you not only learn from doing work but seminars and courses are used to expand knowledge and let you see avenues that you did not...
We are what we repeatedly do.....if you tailgate during two years of driving and go and do your test then yes, it is very possible that you will do that. These are just two examples and I am sure there are a myriad more.
You have to agree that re-training or refreshers are not a bad thing...
just because that driver has not been in an accident does not mean he/she is good in all aspects of driving. Maybe he/she hasn't been in an accident but they may have caused an accident by darting into traffic and cutting off a rider or another driver, making them get into a fender bender...
I don't believe it is about confidence, we are all confident after riding or driving for several years. Ask any driver if they think they are good drivers and they'll say yes. We build bad habits and if we are not told it is wrong then we will continue with them. It is not about hand holding...
without getting into too much, while Castro was in exile in Mexico planning the overthrow of Bautista in Cuba, he met Che (who had gone there after his famous motorcycle ride along the South American coast). Castro knew that by overthrowing the capitalist Bautista it would mean a change of...
Is he a hero to you because of the motorcycle diaries or because of his ideals, I am big fan of his. Like Che, I think Ewan and Charlie (from long way round) had a similar epiphany; with them it was about the lousy conditions that some live with, the work that Unicef is doing to help kids etc...
