    heading to PA next week....suggestions?

I rode 219 home this summer from Ebensburg all the way back to new york. It's a good road with some nice sweeper action but not a great road. A bit slow in the south because towns are close together but it gets better as you go north.

    WHo has mounted a Stebbel??

Mounted one on my wing. It's good for waking up people drifting into your lane. The package says it's the loudest motorcycle horn in the world, but if that's true horn technology still has a way to go.

Please sign my petition to allow straight pipes in Ontario for rider safety

I own this shirt. To quote the off road boys "More sound equals less ground, Noise annoys, Loud Sucks" Seriously Chopgal you'd be better off installing the a steble horn as was suggested earlier. I mounted one on my wing and it's great for waking people up.

Degree of planning for a long trip

When my wife and I tour in the US (2 up on an 86 wing) we usually have a direction and then at night in the hotel room (which we locate each night by luck/chance) we try to figure out the next days destination. Unfortunately for you more discipline will be required in order to complete the loop...

Selling one of my airheads to finance trip

Just curious do you consider the 750-4 an airhead? I have a 76 SuperSport which lots refer to as a single cam but I've only heard beemers referred to as airheads. Good luck on the trip. 4000$ sounds reasonable if you intend to camp, especially if you rough or vagrant camp. If so pack a folding...

Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour to Radisson/James Bay week of August 5?

Re: Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour When you ended up by the boat launch did you see all kinds of older sleds waiting for snow?

Toronto to PNC park Pittsburgh suggestions?

The Squeeze and I rode 219 home a week ago from Ebensburg all the way up to I90 in New York. Down at the south end it was slow going between small towns and we thought we would never get through in one day but then it opened up some and we made good time. The road is curvy and fun to ride...

Thanks Kellen, When's test and tune day? If you see some idiot with a stripped down Goldwing at the strip say hello.

    VRRA weekend at Mosport

I was hoping to ride down and camp. Assuming I havn't had too many pops is there any reason I can't use my OldWing to get around in the park?

    is it true???

I' m hoping to have my drag bike finished soon and get out to the strip (either GrandBend or Sparta) for the first time in September. I heard/read somewhere that a noobie should launch as soon as the last amber illuminates because he'll be too slow on his reaction time to actually trip the red...

    You see the strangest things!

I'm too lazy to figure out how to post a pic but the ghost town of Centrailia PA is pretty strange. They abandoned it after setting a coal seam on fire underneath the town. The houses are gone but the roads, signs and a few steps going up to nonexistant houses was neat to see. Also in the ghost...

    VRRA weekend at Mosport

Anyone been to this event in the past? I hear it's good. Looks like a weekend of camping is only 30$. Thoughts???

If you had 9 Days of Vacation, Where Would you Ride to? Starting location: Toronto

Omnivore what abandoned places have you been to? My wife & I always add those into our trips. Recently we've been to the burning ghost town of Centrailia PA, Eastern State Penn. PA, the Kinsua Bridge collapse PA, the Evans City Cemetary (opening scene of Romero's Night of the Living Dead), the...

If you had 9 Days of Vacation, Where Would you Ride to? Starting location: Toronto

44 percent of the trip spent super slabbing seems wrong to me - just head south and you're into good roads (PA) by early afternoon the first day. Keep heading south WV and VA also have great roads - you couldn't ride them all in 9 days. At least I wasn't.

    My trip to deals gap

Oh pish posh. Nikiter just 'splained it to us " That road is in fact for testing your skills and your set up" Did I mention wannabe boyracers were one of the reasons this road is over rated.
