I saw that bike at L&L once. The owner should really part out the anodized goodies because no one is going to pay $6k for a used ninja 250. The mix of colours is tacky to say the least... Candy green + Lime green + Orange + Gold = :puke:

Yeah, I should be totally comfortable with doing something I've never done before. I shouldn't be even the slightest bit worried that doing something wrong could cause the chain or sprocket to fail and cause lots of damage to my bike or make me fall while I'm riding.

They seem to have the parts I need all in one place. JT steel 39 tooth sprocket (is JT a good brand?) and an EK 520 O-ring chain. Luckily the total is under 100 bucks :D now I just need a stand for my bike and a tutorial on how to install this stuff once I order it...

I'm thinking of getting a 39t rear sprocket for my DRZ400SM so that it is better on the highway. I'll also need a new chain to go along with it because my stock one is a little stretched out. Where is the best place for me to buy it, and can anyone recommend a specific brand or part? Thanks!

Doesn't matter, I see a 2010 Yamaha R1 with 611 miles (american bike) on the website and the price is $14,500... The brand new 2013 R1 sticker price is $14,999 and Yamaha dealers will definitely sell for less than that. Not to mention all the used Ninja 250's listed for around $4500 when...

Yeah OP you should get a dualsport or something (not a supermoto though, you'll get in trouble for wheelies down every street)...

Personally I'd go for the q3s on the front and then when your Q2 rear wears out just get a Q3 to replace it.

When my Q2's need to be replaced I will definitely be upgrading to the Q3's if they last long.
