You need to be very experienced to ride a bike like this without electronics, and why wouldn't one want the option? You can always turn it off. These new bikes make significantly more power than the liters from a decade ago and most guys could barely handle those

Re fitment, most people wear too big. If you'd think you're a large, you're probably a medium. Helmets should be very snug, and they break in slightly over time. Snug is actually more comfortable than loose when you start picking up speed
Take it easy. I'm aware of their development efforts and their own expectations. I would not rule them out in the next couple of years, still many people have questioned Melandri being so far off the pace there's no doubt about that
It's awesome! So glad I did, still love sports bikes but the nakeds are nicer to ride for longer, better for 2 up, and can actually be more exhilarating if they have decent power like so many of the new ones do. IMO the supernakeds are the best bikes on the road
