What he said, nothing much left to fight if you didn't have insurance. Bike and car insurance for you in future will most likely be expensive.may want to check with a lawyer (not paralegal) what you can do.

Happy for you that you got off, the real moral of the story is that you should not speed, high speeds are disasters waiting to happen, even when it is someone else' fault. Increase your and others chances of living longer with all your body parts intact and save us all from high insurance rates...
$300/m for shadow is a bit high IMO if you have a clean record, get quotes from other companies. Choose option 2 then talk to them to see if they can help you out and take it from there. Officers behaviour/attitude etc is not relevant info.

When you pay yearly, you are already paying very little during winter months which is for fire and theft. No point in making any changes.

If police spotted the plates, the cruiser will also exit with lights on.
Why not fix the issue? Yoshimura makes nice licence plate holders with light, better then OEM fender thing.

yes, the two guys with R1s pitted on the fence by the road right before the sound check guy on the left side when coming from the main gate. Good to hear he was ok.
Google maps showed construction so took hwy7 / 115 all the way through Peterborough, not a bad alternate route except for 1 turn that looked like I was on someone's driveway.
Calabogie is not an easy track for first timers with lots of turns and elevation changes (blind spots) but I survived and I would go back there anytime as my first track day :)....had lots of fun, first time on a track and with pro6cycle, great weather. lots of crashes through...two transports...
Fantastic thread, just had my first track day with pro6cycle at Calabogie. Great track to learn and pro6cycle forks were great throughout the day. Couple things to add if this is your first track day, most likely you will rent U-Haul Trailer to take bike to the track (which is what I did).
You...
I use Waze too, yesterday I was riding on qew from Niagara to Toronto and it alerted me about an object on road 750m ahead (through Sena headset in helmet), I slowed down and became cautious and saw a big piece of rolled up carpet in the right most lane.
Waze very well might have saved my life...
