Seems like such a waste if you don't run these bikes on the track.....that is what they are built for.

I rode my R6 down to Indianapolis last year for the MotoGP......definitely not the most comfortable trip!

I haven't put a lot of time on it yet, but it seems like it should suit my needs. It is not super fast, but is pretty fun on the back roads. I had it on the highway a few times and it did quite well for a 250, engine is really smooth for a single. It wanders a bit at higher speeds, but nothing...

For reference, I picked up a mint WR250X this summer with around 6000km for 4000. When I was looking I didn't see anything under 4000. I bought it to play around on and also to ride a bit with my son, once he up is up to speed on his PW50.....pretty similar to your situation I believe.

I was behind him when he went off. I saw him riding through the grass when I went by and thought he was going to be able to ride it out without going down.
