Blog posting bitching about my team mates smashing the bike to pieces:

Steve is well on his way to having it back together. Allen has been working his kijiji magic acquiring bits. I am just standing back...
I'll bet they were planning something at least that wicked but I phoned them Saturday night and quizzed them about how the race went and at that point they had to spill the beans.
What bike?
Check the switch side (i.e., on the sidestand) with the stand folded and extended. Probably you will find that there is continuity across the terminals on the switch when the stand is up, but not when it is down. If that is the case all you need to do is connect those two wires...
Glad it was the youngest most rubbery guy who decided to bin it. If it had been Steve, Allen or I we would be hurting. Actually, I take that back - Allen bounces pretty good. Not happy to have my (well 1/3 mine) bike all smashed to tiny pieces but kinda happy that I was not the one to do...
Killing me that I can't make it because I do support what Ken and Chris are trying to do here, but three race weekends inside of five weeks just doesn't fit if you have a family and they are not participating.
Anyway, the other two Prairie Dogs will be there for the endurance race, along with...
Zeniceguy, why not invest in a lap timer? Then you can go out and compete against yourself rather than other riders, and even post your times here if you feel the need to demonstrate to others how fast you are. Racing against other people on the track at a track day is totally not cool...
You look great. More lean angle will come as you increase corner speed. Your body position is fundamentally good and will work fine as you get faster. Nice!
Go for the Ducati inverter. Sure you have to adjust the valves every 12 hours and it has a bit of a lean surge on economy mode, but the billet handle on the ripcord is pure eye candy and it has dual spark plugs. Only $5999 and the salesperson will bring you a cappuccino while you call your banker.
Ha ha ha....I like the ending!
What was going through your mind at 3:28? Bike also seemed a bit squirmy at one point braking for turn 1 the final time (8:40).
Do you have a lot of experience at TMP? It takes a while to learn, but it seems like you could carry more speed into both 1 and 2...
For clarity, when my bike still had a sidestand I always zip-tied it even when it wasn't required because I am not so arrogant as to ignore the advice of people who have vastly more experience than I do. But doing what you are told out of respect for the person telling you is not the same as...
I know I am going to get hammered for saying this, but....I think the side stand rule for a track day is kind of stupid. If it is your street bike it has been ridden over all kinds of worse bumps than any you will encounter at the track. If the side stand switch hasn't accidentally actuated on...
