Here's a quick clip of the bike I dodged (intermediate group). If the camera was pointing forward, you would have seen a spectator frantically waving his hands then the rider standing right where I was exiting, and then BOLTING over the barrier! I'm assuming the rider was ok...
I think this was the bike from the novice group. When they picked it upright, gas started leaking out the side of the tank... bike took a beating. Hope the rider was in better shape.
Saw it just as the bike went down. It was painful to watch you tumbling down the track. Good to hear that you are for the most part ok.
Turn 12 bit a rider from each group on Saturday.
Suspension is a little on the plush side for the FZ8. New models really need to have preload and damping adjustments on the suspension. It's not a sporty feel... But it would be great for touring.
If you only received disclosure the day of, did you consider requesting a 'stay' due to inadequate disclosure? I'm curious as I'm in a similar situation.
