I've been racing a Ninja 300 for two seasons. It's an awesome track/race bike. There are classes for it to race in with RACE, you should come out next season.

As said by someone else, the mods on that first bike are big money. Even looks like Vortex rear-sets instead of Chinese. So if these are mods you'd want you'll save money buying that bike then buying a stock one and all the bits.

I am one of the Ninja 300 racers and here is my point of view: I did Monday and Tuesday track days last week. Since I had never been to the track before I was told I should be in green group. We were also told to only pass on the straights. But after a session or two I was having to park it...

I think the GB weekend there is a Thursday practice since it's a new to CSBK track. For SMP check Riders Choice as they usually run their days on Thursday.

Only worn the gloves a couple times and never worn the vest. Comes with batteries and chargers. $200 for the gloves and $150 for the vest or $300 for both.

GP Bikes takes your CC number and I think if you break it you buy it. All other demos I've done they don't ask for CC or ins. info.

The Elka shock is for a Ninja 300 but it bolts right in. Suspension set up for around 160 pound rider.
