my 08 1000RR is doin something like 230km on about 13 L of gas when the light comes on with mixed city and highway. If I was on an 80km road nonstop it'll probably do over 300... It's the stop and go that eats gas. I think it burns around 5L/100 km at 120kph ... less if you go full tuck...

I'm running the same for ages now on my 50,000 km 1000RR and it's been good to me. No issues with clutch or massive oil consumption some Honda 08+ 1000s are having. I change between 4-5k km and it sips about 200 or so mm on the dip stick line.

My S20s were great all -year tires, warming up quickly in the cooler temps, but as many reviewers argue, the front outshines the rear. My rear gave up the ghost early on, especially transitioning from upright to slight lean angles.. You will love Dunlop Q3s when those S20s die out.. I got 9600km...

I picked up Q3s in the states and twisty/water tested them ... absolute TOP notch! I tried a set of Pilot Powers in the rain on my buddy's old Gixxer 1000 and damn near killed myself in similar conditions.

from 250 to r6 wasn't bad until I got my first head shakes. From r6 to 1000 was weird, I remember Going uphill onramp and it coming up in third gear during breakin... never scared me yet, the bike is beautifully balanced. it's a pussycat if you are smooth.

Meh.. I guess I'll chime in here now too... I had Pirelli Diablos on my R6 and they lasted something like 16,000 km (deep grooves) good grip.... wore the pitchforks out on both edges of rear.. typical pirelli profile (round but not peaky or flat). Switched to Michelins PP 2 CT and loved them...

Yeah, i've done that in my Held Titans and the kangaroo just doesnt stretch.... i wish it did i need a half size larger. Only in the palm though, fingertips are perfect As for the Velocity, yea those are just kangaroo palm.... they also make a FULL 'roo version (tops of the fingers roo, etc)...

Not a bad looking glove. Bit cheaper than the HELD Titans... but do they have any perf? I suspect you'd be even happier with the full kangaroo ones, they are thinner, weigh less, and don't hold sweat like cowhide does for some reason..
