Honda EU2000 inverter is rated ar 59 dB at full load at 7.5 metres
Honda EZ1800 generator is rated at 69 dB
This one falls pretty close to a standard generator at 66 dB.
I just cannot believe that they can sell a decent 1900 watt inverter for $550, maybe I'm wrong.
Often times a bike with no fairings sustains more damage than one wearing basic fiberglass. The race glass can keep vital parts of the bike such as radiators, etc... tucked out of the way as the bike slides down the road and over curbing. If I recall correctly Dua also offers an excellent race...
Hope you're not hoping to ride on Thursday. No CSBK promoter's practice for this particular round on Thursday. Bikes on track on Friday morning so that will be your only chance to practice before Saturday's qualifying.
A couple of RACE regional classes are running this weekend as well, hence the appearance of the double booking. I'm not sure if anyone can run the Friday practice (track day?) without a CSBK or RACE license.
You could have started by attending the national round double header this past weekend at Shannonville. Great weather, great racing in all classes, and grateful racers for all the fans that did attend.....step right up.....we'd be happy to have you.
And what's all this negative nonsense...
The OEM tachs on those things are rediculously optimistic. I have my soft limiter set to 15000, verified on the dyno, while the tach reads 16500. If Colin has a stock ECU then what you heard was happening closer to 14500, not 16xxxx.
Z1 CycleTech are very competent of the Dyno. They tuned my '07 750 with a full race pipe and PCIII and Ignition module and found a little more power despite the "preloaded" map. Call the shop for estimates.
You never see a steel frame with the 500 knit top for under $400, so this was a decent deal. My 500 knit top has endured over 5 years (about 80 days) with the original frame, no holes, no rips, no cracks. You do get what you pay for.
Like I said earlier, they know their ducs. As far as their schedule goes it's the same for all decent shops in peak season. Bike shops are pretty much a seasonal business in Ontario, so it's difficult for a shop to be fully staffed all year. They simply cannot afford to keep all the required...
The new guy at the counter is Paul and he knows his stuff when it comes to parts and work orders, specially older Ducs. He'll find whatever it is that you're looking for and call you back right away with updates, and he always answers the phone.
Outstanding work, one of the most experienced and best equiped Dyno shops in the region, and not just on FI bikes. Fabrications, tons of experience on both street and race Ducatis, you can't go wrong. Like all good shops they're busy at this time of the year so plan ahead.
