I just noticed this thread. Here's something I posted on another thread in response to a similar inquiry.
After putting 7 years and 105 days of use on the older fully programmable Bickle warmers I bought a new set of the programmable warmers at the last RACE round in 2015 and am pretty happy...
While it's true that he no longer makes the new sets in his workshop, they are made to his specifications by a reputable outsourced manufacturer. I bought a new set of the programmable warmers at the last RACE round and am pretty happy with the product. The material is much easier to wrap...
Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015
Pick a reputable engine builder with a proven track record for building reliable race motors. There are a number of builders and machine shops in the region who will happily take your money and hand you a tidy little time bomb. Some...
Quitting already eh? Just kidding.
I hope you're not using your fuel light as an accurate gauge. On some bikes that's as much as 5L, about 11lb. It's quite possible you were coasting on fumes at Mosport. I always try to get a good idea of the bike's minimum fuel load before it impacts...
Not pointing fingers, I'd just like to see quicker responses where possible. If it's possible to learn a lesson from this then that would be ideal. This type of incident happens frequently at other tracks and race orgs and I'm sure there's a reason officials respond the way they do.
One bike throws metal out of it's cases and rolls to a stop in T1 (flying debris may not have been witnessed by the corner worker), two bikes proceed to crash right behind him. Is this just cause for a debris flag?
Rolling off 10% for a waving yellow is proper, but after the second bike I think they should have shown Todd the red flag. In a worst case scenario they could have shown a debris flag, a racer will show additional caution at the sight of a debris flag. A waving yellow could merely mean that a...
Try MR cycle is the US. I know it sucks to spend money across the border but when stuff is back ordered in Canada then you really have little choice. I ordered tons of parts from them which were back ordered from local dealers and found their prices were low enough that after shipping...
Flexiglass, made in Canada and holds up to crashes better than any other stuff I have worked with. Not super cheap but price is competitive with premium stuff. People need to realize that the difference between cheap and quality glass is usually $200-$300, but if the quality stuff holds up to...

I have some misc carb jets and float bowl gaskets you can have.
I also have a full Keihin FCR Ram air kit with YEC cables and throttle tube if you're interested.
They had the exact same body work. I ran the same bike as you ('07 750) with two different brands of fiberglass and the OEM snorkels always fit. Something is wrong. I'm going to make a guess that your upper fairing mounts are not located or drilled properly, making the uppers swivel either too...
