np, I figured out that you guys were at the location near Eglinton and not the Jane St one that I'm close too. Although a few years ago I did live literally 2 minutes from the Commisso's you went to
Commisso's is great for a late night snack!
May go to L&L tonight, we'll see.
Yes, it really does depend on if your riding group has the Scala as well. Most riders in my riding group all have Scalas; sometimes I'll ride with them and not connect but that's ok b/c then I connect my mp3 and phone. The flexibility of being able to pickup a call while riding is invaluable...
For downtown Toronto I'd say a scooter is more practical, not to say the 125 isn't. Scooters can pretty much park anywhere and get away with it. Also shifting from light to light gets very tiring.
Yes, I hate these ebikes with a passion.
I came out of a store front one day in downtown Toronto and an ebike zooms right by on the sidewalk nearly hitting me. I don't know what I would have done if the bugger had hit me. I know I would love to just pick up the ebike and chuck it.
haha I was at Yorkdale mall, just parked my car to go into the theatre and I heard and saw 5-6 bikes zoom by on the 401 EB; it must've been the same guys.
oh well, hope they had fun.
